Hi Andreas, Thank you for the patch. I have prepared a package for upload. I didn't see any problems with piuparts with the new package, but in the interest of full disclosure, I also couldn't reproduce the piuparts failure with 0.8.1-2. (Perhaps you could share the invocation you used to identify the problem?) In any event, I think the change is good and am planning to upload, provided there are no concerns from the Debian Hams.
