Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install
because it tries to overwrite other packages files.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Preparing to unpack .../pat_0.10.0-1_amd64.deb ...
  Unpacking pat (0.10.0-1) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/pat_0.10.0-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/pat', which is also in package dist 1:3.5-236-1
dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /var/cache/apt/archives/pat_0.10.0-1_amd64.deb

dist has been in the archive for ages, so pat will probably have to rename its
executable (and the corresponding manpage).
(Breaks+Replaces are *NOT* appropriate in this case.)

cheers,

Andreas
