Do I understand you correctly that you need to link against libfdk-aac but you need the newer release 2.0.1 not the 1.6 release currently in Debian? What you should do is file a bugreport against the libfdk-aac package requesting upgrading to that newer release. Part of filing a bugreport is checking if someone has already reported same issue - and there is: https://bugs.debian.org/915386 Please post an email to 915386@bugs.debian.org and discuss there how to proceed - e.g. if you want to offer to help then say that there, so that others following that bug hears it.
