Summer updates on digital amateur radio communications projects

Hello,

I have some updates regarding new digital radio developments this summer:

1. QRadioLink now has support for DBPSK, DQPSK and 4FSK modems, while
the QAM64 modem for video streaming is undergoing development. Also
support has been added for automatic frequency tuning, signal analysis
and runtime modem reconfiguration. BER reports will be logged and
associated with GPS location readings to provide signal coverage data.
Gerry EI8DRB has kindly offered to test QRadioLink on the LimeSDR as
it should be fully supported now.

2. An amateur GSM network is undergoing operational testing on the 70
cm band: frequency 438.400 MHz with access on 433.400 MHz. The network
is only composed of a single cell for the moment, supporting voice
calls, conference calls on a single voice bridge and GPRS data.
The base station is served by OsmoBTS running on a Linux machine
connected to an USRP B200 SDR device, but multiple BTSs can be
connected via Ericsson A-bis to a single BSC (OpenBSC). The network
architecture can be seen here:
http://osmocom.org/projects/openbsc/wiki
The network can be monitored using an RTL-SDR stick, as all calls are
unencrypted.
Operational parameters: 0.5 Watt ERP, antenna dipole, height 462
meters MSL, locator KN36EW
