AW: UKW-Tagung Weinheim
Hi,
I'm Peter who is organizing the UKW-Tagung in Weinheim. Together with Markus we'd like to push the digital evolution within amateur radio. As an electronic engineer, I do know about the opportunities the Digital signal processing brings to the "analog world". Within the SDR Academy we would like to mutual influence both areas by fostering the combination building SDR transceiver and adding new digital modes on top of the traditional once. Substituting expensive analog hardware opens new areas for ordinary people.
Using the nature of radio, to get in touch with very low effort, independently from any transmission network (i.e. internet) in the middle, does give people very new creative solutions at low cost and independent from potential threats the modern mashed communication networks have. If you may think about a contribution, but hesitated to come forward so far, or not knowing if the idea may fit, please get in contact with me soon. I do have some final slots reserved for SDR and I would like to push UKW-Tagung and SDR Academy by slotting presentations around DSP and SDR topics in.
If you can't do it in German, an English lecture is OK as well, supporting the international character of amateur radio. If you like to have a phonecall, just ping me your number and a preferred time, I come back to you.

Betreff: CfP: UKW-Tagung Weinheim
Dear list,
on September 09, there is going to be the UKW-Tagung (VHF Conference) at Weinheim, in southwestern Germany. It's a one day amateur radio venue of about 3000 visitors, on all radio related topcs.
There are going to be three tracks, one of them on SDR topics.
The organizers are still looking for contributors.
The venue is mostly German speaking, to my experience.
Please note the following deadlines:
* 28.07.2017 Title and 300 chars abstract
* 20.08.2017 Paper camera-ready for the printed (!) conf proceedings
* 09.09.2017 Your presentation
