Dear all,

I’m the uploader of the gnss-sdr package, and I’m a little confused: what’s the best way to proceed from here? Should I submit a 0.0.9-5 version to unstable closing this bug in the Changelog, or I should omit it since it was closed in a previous version in experimental?

When the BTS has enough information for doing version tracking
it is irrelevant whether the bug is open or closed.

Similar to an upload to unstable closing a bug, where the BTS also
knows when the closed bug is still in testing.

That is all correct. But that only works if the package upload in
experimental would have actually closed a bug which it didn't.

So this mechanism doesn't work here.

The BTS does not care whether the closing email was sent automatically
due to an upload or manually by a human.

The important part is the Version: in the email closing the bug.
