Package: xcwcp
Version: 2.2-10
Severity: wishlist

[Actually not exactly the "same time":
I was hoping to mimic the sound,
"repeat after the teacher". The best I could do was
$ xcwcp&
$ seq 22|while read x;do sleep 6;echo $x;done|cw
or:
$ seq 22|while read x;do sleep 6;echo $x|cw;done
but the results are far from ideal. There even seems to be competition
for the sound card. Probably it should all be done inside xcwcp.
Or maybe one should just prepare a tape and play it back at the same
time, abandoning trying to do both send and receive on one computer? Naw...

This is outside the scope of the application. xcwcp is a X Window-based
interactive Morse code tutor program as such it is designed to allow
receiving or sending practice not both at the same time or 'parroting'
which would be a bad way to learn CW.

So closing as wont-fix
