That wasn't my point. My point is about the <LOG> macro execution at the
key pressing instead of the normal text flow. 

In normal use sometimes I press two or more macro keys, and the SK last.
If I change my mind to not send SK and edit the buffer text, I need to
perform several actions, at least: edit the log and refill the callsign field.

I think the clear fields is part of the <LOG> macro and should be
exec'd at the time the tx cursor reachs the macro in the buffer.

Yes, I love the mouse, that's the reason why I'm concerned about the
macros.
