Hi, thanks for your answer. On Sun, Jul 11, 2010 at 05:33:21PM -0400, Ed wrote: > The user also has the option to not clear the log information on > save. From the main fldigi window :: That wasn't my point. My point is about the <LOG> macro execution at the key pressing instead of the normal text flow. In normal use sometimes I press two or more macro keys, and the SK last. If I change my mind to not send SK and edit the buffer text, I need to perform several actions, at least: edit the log and refill the callsign field. I think the clear fields is part of the <LOG> macro and should be exec'd at the time the tx cursor reachs the macro in the buffer. > Also there is a log icon on the main fldigi window as well as a > clear icon that clears the log window. Yes, I love the mouse, that's the reason why I'm concerned about the macros. > This is the way fldigi was written, to give the user as many options > as possible. It's *not* giving me this option... > The user could also create a seperate <LOG> macro. And loose a valuable key in the first row of the keyboard. Thanks, -- Fernando M. Maresca
