Compile trustedqsl fail under Open Suse

I downloaded the original source and applied trustedqsl_1.11-7.diff.  ./configure complete okay, but compile fails with:

/usr/include/wx-2.8/wx/event.h: In member function âvoid MyFrame::ImportQSODataFile(wxCommandEvent&)â:
/usr/include/wx-2.8/wx/event.h:393: error: âint wxEvent::m_idâ is protected

Searching the web it I see that ohters have this same problem, but I did not find a solution.
