Hi Joop. I've reopened this bug. A few comments which I hope are
constructive.

1. Nothing in the 0.8.1-4 upload addressed this bug, so it's usually not
appropriate to use the changelog to close it. To close bugs without
uploads you should email nnn-done@bugs.d.o or control@bugs.d.o etc the
old-fashioned way.

2. I think the bug report is legitimate and it isn't fixed. The original
submitter was generous enough to send a patch. Although the patch
doesn't apply any more the problem still exists. It's our job as
maintainers to pass the report on to the upstream author if that's
required, rather than forcing the submitter to contact upstream himself.
