i'm using debian-woody also, but i've got installed my linkt years ago..

linkt: 0.6.99
..the directory seems to be deleted, but i (not sure!) remember (maybe) i've used a rpm-src-package wich already exists...
linkt-0.6.99-92.src.rpm <-- it a suse-package...
i remember that i've got a problem with the original package..
maybe you'll try this way like i did...
btw: necessary headers had to be installed anyway..
