Hmmm...on further examination these are contents of the /usr/share/tlf "file 
tree" that are IGNORING the prefix direction during install.
callmaster  ctydb.dat   doc         examples    logcfg.dat

(I am redirecting to --datadir=/usr/share in the configure stage.)
