Hmmm, actually I thought it was mostly necessary to
load to required kernel modules and perhaps to have
the required devices in /dev (with maybe a simlink or
two). Autodetect, or an init shell script to load the
required kernel modules perhaps. Never mind X11,
that's MORE work.
Well after the first cd image is out the door maybe
some of the guys will get itchy to do more. I'll be
reading my email! I still have this idea to cut the
standard debian distro down to the bone, add all
available ham radio stuff and call it 'Hiram Linux'
(if the ARRL don't mind).
