smdiag

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get the smdiag utility? The AX-25 HOWTO mentions
it quite a bit, but it's not in ax25-utils, ax25-apps, or ax25-tools. From
what I've read in the HOWTO, it sounds like setting up a soundmodem without
it is all but impossible. I downloaded the source for ax25-utils and tried to
compile smdiag, but it gives me "incomplete type" errors from a kernel source
header it includes (linux/if.h). Are there any of you using a soundmodem who'd
be willing to help me get this setup, or point me to more documentation?
