 The current gnome-panel logout dialog is even worse: I find myself
 *read* the text each time I have to click in it.  At least the Ubuntu
 dialog is very big and has colors with a shorter text for each button.

 Haha, *exactly*; I don't trust suspend to work reliably, and it's
 unlikely to change soon.  Also, I sometimes close the lid for lunch
 where I don't want to suspend (it's also a quick way to leave my place
 which locks the screen too).
