Is there any hope of having the gconf local lock patch added to gconf?
The new gnucash will require the patch, which Havoc Pennington has
previously said is good. It is necessary to maintain compatibility
between gconfd-2 and libgconf11.

The last has the actual Havoc-approved patch.
Please reply to me ASAP; this is necessary to fix a very important
potential gnucash bug, and I want to be ahead of the curve on it. If
