It will also be started if you enter the ``removable storage'' preferences
menu. gvm is in the default debian session currently, but if you have a custom
session it indeed won't be automagically added. Don't think there is anything
we can do about that.

The right question is why you have 7 scsi cd devices ? Note that ide-scsi
shouldn't be used anymore with linux 2.6 kernels.

you have to use pumount to unmount devices mounted with pmount. gnome-vfs2 has
been patched to do this (since 2.8.3-3). Could be the case that you need to
restart nautilus to use the newer gnomevfs
