gnome-vfs volume detection in Sarge

Hi,

gnome-vfs has some magic code so that programs can detect what the
device type is in a given volume. I wanted to use this in Sound Juicer
to add an "Extract CD..." context menu entry on Audio CD icons.

However, this code is broken in GNOME 2.6 on Sarge -- it assumes that
"interesting" mount points are under /vol or /mnt... and Sarge has the
CD-ROM mount points under /media.

Do we live with this as an acceptable bug? Or should we back-port the
G2.8 changes (it only looks at the basename of the mount point) to the
2.6 packages?
