I didn't have a chance yesterday to look at these tools, but have
started to today. They seem very useful, if a bit daunting. One of my
goals is to allow the user to add a new network at the time they plug
in. Manually editing the interfaces file is definitely not something
that a user should have to do to get their network connection working.
Editing /etc/waproamd/scripts/essid:roach is not something I want to do
myself.

Like I said, I don't exactly know the Right Way for this stuff to be
handled, I don't think that magic daemons that the user has to drop to a
terminal to get any use out of are part of where we're trying to go
though. The brains of those programs are extremely useful, but there is
more work that needs to be done for them to be wielded by mortals.
