have trouble with nautilus mime (Bug#258564 ?)

Hi,

I'm experiencing mime problems with nautilus 2.6.3-2.

In short: nautilus seems to ignore the action associated
to some file types.

My case:
I associated the .chm extension (application/x-chm) with
the xchm viewer.
This used to work flawlessly with past versions of nautilus.

After upgrading to 2.6 version, I get the dialog
"No action associated".

Choosing to "Associate Application", the following
"Add file type" window shows correct values (application/x-chm,
default action "xchm", which is installed)

Yet, even owerwriting the shown values with new ones has
no effect at all. The entry seems to be ignored by nautilus.


tried:
- update-mime-database /usr/share/mime
- apt-get install --reinstall shared-mime-info

with no result.

Any hint?
