When I login with gdm into my gnome session the background is set to this ugly violet although my session's background is black as is gdm's background. How can I change this? I think the default behaviour should be not to change whatever background gdm set until the user's background settings come in. Who is changing the background? gdm? gnome-session? I'm using sid's gnome 2.4. Thanks, Pedro.
