force gnome-search-tool to use locate

Hi,

I'm still exploring Gnome 2.4 bit by bit. Today I tried gnome-search-tool. Usually when I want to find files I use locate from command-line. It is really fast way to find what you need. I expected something like that from gnome- search-tool. Apparently it uses find and it takes a long time to find anything. I found no way to force it to use locate (yet help says gnome- search-tool uses find locate and grep commands). I tried looking at gconf, and did a quick search on the net.

Could this be done? Or it is a feature? Or should I file a bug?

I use up to date Sid
