I think yesterdays upload finally fixed the problems.

I recently installed G2.4 via GARNOME, and the only thing to have
changed prefs is the panel, and that migrates itself.  The "a pref last
forever" policy in GNOME 2 is being adhered too.

Good point, I think getting both of these in could be done as long as
Mozilla is behaving itself.
