Sean, what is stopping you from converting those ITPs into real packages ?
I know that you couldn't do that for political reasons for gdm, but
these shouldn't stop you from uploading these new packages. And indeed,
by you having filled an ITP, nobody else will provide a package, and it
is expected that you get those packages into debian proper at the
fastest possible convenience.
