Re: gnome-session 2.2 fails to startup (problem solved)
After an attempt at re-running fc-cache simply hanged, I straced it and
moved a couple of font files it didn't much care for out of its way.
After this it was able to successfully run and gnome-session was able to
start up.
This really does not seem like an elegant way of handling corrupt or
bogus fonts :).
