gdk-imlib1-dev conflicts with libpng3-dev, and it doesn't need to.
Seemingly libgtk2.0-dev also depends on libtiff3g-dev, libpng3-dev,
and libjpeg62-dev... also doesn't need to. If either or both of these
are fixed, the above won't happen.

Please god no. The imlib2 package we have, built against libpng3, is a
curiosa with little rational explanation. The entire of GNOME 1.4
packages in sid should remain linked to imlib1 (and hence png2, but not
explicitly unless required).
