I use the gnome2 packages - what happens when they become gnome

Hi,

I installed the gnome2 packages from experimental and they are indeed
worth the upgrade. However, what is going to happen when the packages
lose the 2 suffix. Will I have to install gnome again (and will it
download all the packages again ?)
