The PowerTweak approach seems reasonnable. I am convinced that gnome2
has a far better usability record than gnome1 even if I tend to be a
poweruser. So my point was not to critizise the way gnome is going.
In fact the only thing I miss with metacity is the ability to teach my
unnamed window manager to place my app at a given place with a given
size. I guess there is a way to do that with metacity but I haven't
figure out yet how.
