I think that's the old method, using freetype. Apparently the new one
using xft is not available in Debian yet, according to what I read in
/usr/share/doc/mozilla-browser-snapshot/changelog.Debian.gz

I guess it should arrive soon since this Mozilla new feature seems more
and more stable.
