Rollback of GNOME1 png2->png3: more rebuilds needed
I've just been playing with a pbuilder sid chroot to figure out what still
needs to be done before I can once again build a gnumeric 1.0.x package that
doesn't touch png3 anymore in any way.
Several packages need to be fixed (rebuilt with tightened dependencies), and
there are dependencies among them that impose a partial order in which these
fixes can be made; the order listed here is one that works:
libgdk-pixbuf-gnome2
Currently, /usr/lib/libgnomecanvaspixbuf.so.1 loads against both
/usr/lib/libgdk_imlib.so.1 [good] and /usr/lib/libgdk_imlib.so.2 [bad].
Rebuilding against the latest libgnome-dev results in libraries that
only load against /usr/lib/libgdk_imlib.so.1 .
gnome-print
Needs to be rebuilt against the latest libgnome-dev and against a fixed
libgdk-pixbuf-gnome-dev.
bonobo
Needs to be rebuilt against the latest libgtkxmhtml-dev, libgnome-dev
and against a fixed libgdk-pixbuf-dev, libgnomeprint-dev.
libglade-gnome0
Needs to be rebuilt against the latest libgnome-dev and against a fixed
libbonobo-dev.
gal
Needs to be rebuilt against the latest libgnome-dev and against fixed
libgdk-pixbuf-gnome-dev, libgnomeprint-dev, libglade-gnome0-dev.
libgda
Needs to be rebuilt against the latest libgnome-dev and against a fixed
libbonobo-dev.
There may well be other packages that need to be fixed; this is just the
list I noticed for gnumeric.
