Why not just upload to unstable, where it will be autobuilt?
I'm not sure why we originally settled on uploading GNOME 2 stuff to
experimental; a lot of the GNOME 2 apps are quite stable and usable, or
at least the ones I've used are.
file-roller2, at least, is certainly high quality enough to be in
unstable.
