next release (& bug in gdm)
Hello
I just uppgrade to testing from progeny.
Unrelated to gnome: apt-listchanges whent broken in the middle, stopt
all update (including apt-listchanges) Hacked listchanges to return
succesfully whitout doing anythin, run 'apt-get -f install' and was
back on track.
Later I removed all gnome and installed it again. That broked gdm.
Have not had time to track that down, but at least i spot a typo in
/etc/init.d/gdm, under stop, if gdm is *not* running, echo -n is
in the wrong order (-n echo) giving a odd message.
Most installation of gnome whent smoth, but I have not tryed to run
it thou.
nautilus and mozilla seams to be missing in testing? Things is in
a transition right now? Is ther any target gnome version for the
next stable release of debian. Or will it be based simply on what
can make it in to testing in time?
Thanks /LaH
