Inconsistent Gnome Look with Window Managers

For now none of the delivered Gtk themes fits to any of the themes
delivered for the window managers e/ice/wmaker. Each combination
is ugly to some extent:

Sometimes the window bar controls dont fit to the gtk scrollbars
(because of size differences), sometimes the grey tones just dont
fit, and sometimes the relieved borders of gtk controls and
wm controls dont.

I dont want to speak about the different styles of pop-up menus of
window managers and gnome.

And I dont want to speak about the inconsistent behaviour when the
mouse pointer gets moved over gnome content and when it gets moved
over wm controls.

Even the ihmo best looking combination of the e big clean theme
and gtk default theme (boring - i know but it keeps things
productive) has all of the above mentioned inconsistencies.

Maybe the package maintainers can get synkronized to deliver
at least one theme combination for each GNOME/wm combination.

It would be nice if i dont need to make a fool of myself
when i show gnome to someone who does not live within the
linux/Gnome hype.
