I'll dig more into this later tomorrow. It appears that the buildds don't have the "vsock" kernel module loaded, and are not configured to dynamically load kernel modules. I can locally reproduce the test failure if I unload/blacklist the vsock module. I've pushed a commit that updates golang-github-mdlayher-socket to include a small patch that changes the failure to a skip if that test cannot open the socket. Testing locally with the patch, the package now builds successfully both when the vsock module is and isn't loaded. The package is ready (again) for uploaded to unstable. Thanks, Mathias
