Just a quick note, when there was #896854, you didn't have to open #953761.
You could either take over it or just email to the bug that you're
taking care of this as the person who opened this isn't interested to
work anymore.

Now that we've closed #953761 via the upload, I'd request for you to
close #896854 manually with brief reasoning.
