Bug#897276: libc6: Device file with cu command becomes unresponsive due to libc6 update

Package: libc6
Version: 2.24-11+deb9u3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
Updating libc6 version from 2.24-11+deb9u1 to 2.24-11+deb9u3, the device file became nonresponsive.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

+ libc6(2.24-11+deb9u1) install and cu command (AT Input , OK response) : This is the result I'm expecting.

	------------
	root@obsiot:~# dpkg -i libc6_2.24-11+deb9u1_amd64.deb
dpkg: warning: downgrading libc6:amd64 from 2.24-11+deb9u3 to 2.24-11+deb9u1

+ libc6(2.24-11+deb9u3) install and cu command (AT Input , No response) : This is the result I do not want.

	------------
	root@obsiot:~# dpkg -i libc6_2.24-11+deb9u3_amd64.deb
(Reading database ... 9994 files and directories currently installed.)

   * What was the outcome of this action?

As mentioned above, no response was made when updating was done.

However, not all devices are affected. Only some devices are affected.

	root@obsiot:~# lsusb

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
As with the 2.24-11+deb9u1 version, I expect that OK will be returned after entering the AT command to the device file.
