Bug#855194: locales: locale en_US.ISO-8859-1 and en_US.iso88591 wrong with dpkg-reconfigure locales

The issue is due to the following configuration:

You have added the non-standard charset "iso88591" in /etc/locales.gen.
When doing so you should provide the corresponding charset file in
/usr/share/i18n/charmaps.

However given that you also requested the en_US.ISO-8859-1 locale to be
generated, I guess you just want to remove the en_US.iso88591 entry from
/etc/locales.gen.

Could you please confirm that just removing this broken entry fixes your
problem?
