Bug#784379: Package: locales - AM/PM strings are missing from "es_MX" locale

Package: locales
Version: 2.19-18
Severity: normal
Tags: l10n

Dear Maintainer, I hope you are doing well:

I have noticed that AM/PM strings (12 hour clock) are missing from "es_MX"
locale. Since in Mexico we use indistinctly a 12 or 24 hour clock setting. I am
wondering if you can help me to modify the "es_MX" locale by adding the AM/PM
strings to the 12 hour clock.

Perhaps is worth to mention that I have checked other Latin American locales,
and looks like they are already using the AM/PM strings, for example: es_CO,
es_VE, es_PE, es_CR, etc.

See below the differences I have found in this regard between "es_MX" and
"es_CO" locales.
<<es_MX>>
....
am_pm "";""
t_fmt_ampm ""
....

<<es_CO>>
....
am_pm "<U0041><U004D>";"<U0050><U004D>"
t_fmt_ampm "<U0025><U0049><U003A><U0025><U004D><U003A><U0025><U0053>/
<U0020><U0025><U0070>"
....

Thank you in advance for your help on this.

Please, let me know if you need more information.

Regards.
Edgardo Rios
