System upgrade (by aptitude) for a stable/wheezy and

I do have several systems which did not(!) experience this problem!
I also have four (very similar) systems that all(!) show these
symptoms; they are all IBM x-Series 335 machines. So it might be
hardware-dependend, especially which CPU-type is used!
