The caching for netgroups has several bugs which we are trying to fix upstream.
The only way this is going to get better for debian is to track all of
the upstream fixes.
Right now I'd say you disable caching or debian disable netgroup
caching until Red Hat shakes out all the bugs.
Alternatively someone from Debian could help upstream.
