Bug#629819: libc6: gcc-4.2 from lenny no longer works
Package: libc6
Version: 2.13-10
Followup-For: Bug #629819
when running gcc-4.2 from lenny, we get:
# gcc-4.2 hw.c
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find crt1.o: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find crti.o: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc_s
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
# apt-show-versions gcc-4.2
gcc-4.2/lenny uptodate 4.2.4-6
How do I get lenny compilers to continue to work when installed on a sid
based host?
