I have seen this problem with Iceweasel, Firefox Aurora binaries from Mozilla,
and about every program that tries to do a reverse DNS query including several
P2P servents.
This problem, or a very similar one, was already reported and fixed in
Arch Linux: <https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/24615>. It is reported in
Fedora with apparently no resolution yet <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=__libc_res_nquery>.
According to
