I never said it won't be fixed.

It is possible to fix bugs in the stable version if they are important
enough, but it's up to the stable release team to decide.

In any case before speaking about that, we have to find the patch that
fixes the problem, which in this case is not really obvious. I
personally don't have the time right now to do that, I'll may do it
latter if time permits.
