The entry for "America/Boa_Vista" has a sign error in the latitude.
No portion of Brazil is north of the equator, yet the coordinates
are entered on that line as "+0249-06040"; the latitude cannot be +2 49'
although it certainly could be -2 degrees.

*Some* parts of Brazil are definitely north of the equator. The equator
line crosses Brazil from about Belem, through Pico de Neblina (highest
point in Brazil and to Colombia border.

The city of Boa Vista is definitely north of equator. It is the only
Brazil state capital (state of Roraima) hwich is in northern
hemisphere.
