Package: atlas2-3dnow
Version: 3.2.1ln-11

/usr/lib/liblapack.so cannot be reached:

% cat /usr/lib/liblapack.so > /dev/null
cat: /usr/lib/liblapack.so: Too many levels of symbolic links

We have
/usr/lib/liblapack.so => /usr/lib/liblapack.so.2 => /usr/lib/liblapack2.so
   => /etc/alternatives/liblapack2.so => /usr/lib/3dnow/atlas/liblapack.so
   => /usr/lib/3dnow/atlas/liblapack.so.2
   => /usr/lib/3dnow/atlas/liblapack.so.2.3

That makes 6 elements in the chain but the kernel allows only 5. The
same happens with /usr/lib/libblas.so.

Hi,

I'm closing this bug report. Atlas 2 is long out of Debian and the usage
of Atlas 3 has changed significantly.
