Do you have more details about the tests that are failing? I have
started a build of gcc-4.4 4.4.2-2 using eglibc 2.10.1-7 on i386, and
I get the following testsuite results:

|                 === g++ Summary for unix ===
|
| # of expected passes            20002
| # of expected failures          156
| # of unsupported tests          98

|                 === libstdc++ Summary for unix ===
|
| # of expected passes            5883
| # of unexpected successes       1
| # of expected failures          79
| # of unsupported tests          331

It does not show any regression compared to the current version.

Any news on this? I have seen that gcc 4.4.2-3 you uploaded recently has
been built against libc6-dev 2.10.1-7 and that it does not exhibit the
problem.

false positive, not seen in a fresh chroot.

  Matthias
