libc6.postinst has "some init scripts don't match the package names" remark and it doesn't specifically handle mysql-server case there, but mysql initscript is called "mysql". So, postinst just says "WARNING: init script for mysql-server not found" and doesn't restart mysql. -- WBR, wRAR (ALT Linux Team)
