Hi, I've done aditional tests. I see accents in softwares such as links... but I can't write them. The problem stays even after reboot. Actually, I determined that when I send an accent, it sends to the program where I where I type the bytes matching to its representation in utf8. In tty1, everything works. I tried unicode_stop and get: already in byte-mode.. I hope it'll help. Sincerely, JP
