Bug#474171: libc6-dev: please define ETHERTYPE_IPV6 in /usr/include/net/ethernet.h

Package: libc6-dev
Version: 2.7-10
Severity: wishlist

hi,

/usr/include/net/ethernet.h does not have a definition for
ETHERTYPE_IPV6, as is found on some other systems (i.e. freebsd). the
following lines should resolve the situation:

#ifndef ETHERTYPE_IPV6
#define ETHERTYPE_IPV6 0x86dd
#endif

thanks,
