Bug#443581: locales: stranges characters in file
Package: locales
Version: 2.6.1-5
Severity: normal

Hello, dear GNU Libc Maintainers,
I've just installed the package "locales" and it has modified the file
/etc/locale.alias in this way:

in my ignorance I think that "français" should have been left as it
was, instead of changing it into "français".
Thank you the time you spend in maintaining Debian,
cheers,
